Getting started tour
A walk along every page, one setting at a time.
A new server meets a dashboard of twenty-three pages and no order. Getting started gives it one: three answers about your community, a checklist of what a server needs, and a tour that takes you to each page and lights one element at a time, with the explanation next to it.
The element stays usable while the tour explains it, so you set things as you go. Every sentence in the tour was checked against the code that does the work; when the code changes, the sentence changes with it.
Plan: Free, on every plan
Ninety-eight steps, twenty-three pages
The whole dashboard in about twenty-five minutes, in as many sittings as you like. Or one page’s tour on its own, any time.
A checklist that cannot lie
Every line is read from the settings themselves: the layout applied, verification on and posted, the logs, the welcome, leveling, tickets, the plan. A finished tour credits its line.
Nothing changes on its own
The tour explains; you press the buttons. Close it and the page is exactly as you left it.
How it works
The dashboard’s tour walks you through these same steps on the page itself, one setting at a time.
- 1
Three answers
What kind of community, how big, what matters most. The type picks the server blueprint for you.
- 2
Start the walk-through
The tour goes to the Server setup page and lights the first thing worth knowing. Next, Next, Done.
- 3
Or pick a page
Every page has its own tour on the hub, grouped like the sidebar. A page your plan does not include still gets its explanation.
What you control
- Server type, size, goals
- Stored per server; the type preselects the blueprint once, when none is chosen.
- Checklist
- Seven lines with Tour and Open buttons; the state is read live from the settings.
- Resume
- A reload during a tour picks it up at the same step.

Questions people ask
Who wrote the tour?
People, from the code. Every claim (a default, a limit, a channel name) was checked against the handler that does it before it was written, and a test fails when a step points at something the page no longer has.
Can members see it?
No. The tour is part of the dashboard, which is for people with Administrator or Manage Server on the Discord server.
Add the bot, run the tour, invite your members
It takes one afternoon. The captcha, the roles and the welcome are waiting for them.
