The dashboard, page by page
Moderation
This text is the dashboard’s tour for this page.
1.Warnings with a limit
The moderation commands: /warn, /warnings (list and clear), /timeout, /untimeout, /kick, /ban, /unban, /softban, /nick, and /purge for cleaning messages (all, a user’s, bots’, links, attachments, or a word). Every warning is stored and counted per member; at the limit the bot acts by itself.
2.The switch
On means the warning limit is enforced. The commands themselves need the moderator to hold the matching Discord permission (Kick Members for /warn and /kick, Ban Members for /ban, Moderate Members for /timeout, Manage Messages for /purge), and a moderator can never act on someone with a higher role; the bot never lets a member do what Discord would not.
3.Max warnings and the action
The default is 5 warnings, then a kick. The action can also be a timeout of one hour or a ban. Reaching the limit resets the count, and the action is logged to the moderation log channel. A warning given by an AutoMod rule counts the same as one given by hand; /warnings clear wipes a member’s count.
