Game servers

This text is the dashboard’s tour for this page.

1.Your game servers in Discord

A status panel per game server (Counter-Strike 2, CS:GO, Team Fortress 2, Rust, ARK: Survival, or any other Source-engine game): the map, who is playing, and a “how to join” button that answers each member privately with the connect line and a Steam link. A second, staff-only panel adds the address, the password and the controls: change map, restart, console. Pro has 2 game servers, Business 10; the add-on gives 2.

2.Add a server

Name, game, the public host and query port, the join password, who may see the join button (everyone when empty), who may use the controls (Manage Server always may), and the channels for the two panels, which must differ. The staff panel refuses a channel that a role outside the control roles can read.

3.The servers

Live status per server, refreshed every minute in Discord. Link the machine makes a key pair for that server and hands you the line to put in the game box’s authorized_keys, restricted to the gate script you download here; Test link checks it; Post panel puts the messages in Discord.

4.How it works

What every button does for moderators and members, and what the bot’s key can and cannot do on your machine.

Add the bot, run the tour, invite your members

It takes one afternoon. The captcha, the roles and the welcome are waiting for them.
